Doctor Appointment on Tap

During week 6, we've had too major events coming up. One baby related and one not so baby related. First, in the baby department, Antoinette will visit the doctor (with me in tow) for the very first time on 9/12/08, a Friday. That's very exciting news and both of us are very excited. At that point, Antoinette will be about 9 1/2 weeks pregnant!!!

The second major event is our first Hurricane!!!! Boo!!!! They are still predicting Faye will cross out into the Atlantic before doubling back and slamming either directly into Jacksonville or just south around St. Augustine (which is prone to flooding) as one of the smallest class of Hurricanes, a Category 1. While smaller, they are like the smallest elephant in a room, and are actually quite large. Faye is currently swallowing up about 1/4 of the state of Florida at any given time and will produce anywhere from 8-12 inches of rain in Jacksonville and winds for us anywhere from 40-80 MPH depending on where she actually makes landfall. Faye is not going to be a very pleasant guest.
